Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 3447

Daily Devotional. Follow peace with all men, AND HOLINESS, without which no man shall see the Lord: And this Word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which CANNOT be shaken may remain. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have Grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with Reverence and Godly Fear: For our God is a Consuming Fire. Hebrews 12:14,27-29. HOLINESS: A PURIFIER:  Thayer’s Definition: “consecration, purification the effect of consecration, sanctification of heart and life”. “SANCTIFICATION: “Wisdom, broad and full of intelligence; used of the knowledge of very diverse matters”. Holiness, without which NO MAN shall see the Lord. It isn’t good enough to just say, “God is Love”, or, “I believe in Jesus”, for even the devils Believe AND TREMBLE. To Grow in Holiness is to Grow AWAY from the things of the world, and TOWARDS the Things of The Lord. Obedience to and Faith unto Salvation are the first step, and are required to head for Heaven. But it doesn’t stop there. The rest of your Life will be Following the Leading of the Holy Spirit as He takes away any and all Desires for the things of this world, and replaced them with the Things, the Attributes of Christ. Many times it’s hard to let go and have these old things of the world, removed. Hard, but necessary, because Christ PAID FOR IT ALL, and the Holy Spirit brings it to pass. There is NO unholiness in Heaven. And you don’t get to bring yours with you. To Grow in Holiness, Righteousness, Purity and Patience IS to Grow in CHRISTLIKENESS, and CHRISTLIKENESS is the total opposite of flesh, self, and the old man nature. Multiple times everyday, you get to choose to do something towards HOLINESS, or towards worldliness. The choice is ALWAYS yours. Take it one step at a time and one day at a time, even if it seems like two steps forward and one step back, IT’S STILL PROGRESS. Make Progress, and, Be Blessed.
