Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 3434

Daily Devotional. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, HE IS MY REFUGE AND MY FORTRESS: MY GOD; IN HIM WILL I TRUST. Surely He shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with His Feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust: His truth shall be thy shield and buckler. THOU SHALT NOT BE AFRAID for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; BUT IT SHALL NOT COME NIGH THEE. Psalm 91:1-7. The Coronavirus has a lot of people scared. There is more than enough fear going around, AND CHRISTIANS MUST BE VERY CAREFUL. Why? Because their Faith can get them into trouble. Let’s say you have Great Faith, the Real Thing, and you KNOW you’re not a carrier and you’re not infected. You’re no threat to anyone about the virus. But they’re scared of everything about the virus and if you don’t act like a “normal” person, they don’t want you anywhere near them. If you don’t wear a mask, keep 6 feet away from everyone, and look even a little scared, YOU’RE NOT NORMAL. To be accepted into today’s society, you have to at least somewhat look the part, and if you do, that’s your doorway to “get close” to people and encourage them in “no fear” and whatever else the Lord tells you to say. Yes, it is a balancing act to bring Christ to people near you, and not look proud and arrogant with your “No Fear” attitude. Do your best to obey the leading of the Holy Spirit. Believers, this virus is a shot across the “Christian’s Bow”, for you to decide where YOU stand on worldly things of Fear. Are you Free and Clear of Fear? Or are you becoming Fearful of all the death and destruction going on around you? If you find yourself becoming fearful, read Psalms 91, 40 or 50 times, and Be Blessed.
