Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 3431

Daily Devotional. For he maketh small THE DROPS OF WATER: they pour down rain according to the VAPOUR thereof: Job 36:27. He causeth the VAPOURS to ASCEND from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind OUT OF HIS TREASURIES. Psalm 135:7. Fire, and hail; snow, and VAPOUR; stormy wind FULFILLING HIS WORD: Psalm 148:8. Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is YOUR LIFE ? It IS EVEN A VAPOUR, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. James 4:14. A vapour is but for a very short time in the scheme of all things, SO MAKE IT COUNT. Vapours rise up, drawn out by the heat of the sun. One vapour droplet may seen insignificant all by itself, even hardly noticeable to most people, but after a nice refreshing rain, the clouds clear, and the sun comes out, AND SHINES THROUGH ALL THOSE LITTLE WATER VAPOUR DROPLETS,  it’s a Beautiful Thing, called a Rainbow. It shows all the main colors created by God, and it shows the Promise of God not to ever again destroy the earth by water. It shows the Glory of God when the sun shines through the vapour. It shows the Glory of God when The Son shines through us, His Creation of collected Vapours. We may be here but for a moment, BUT WE ARE HERE EVEN FOR THIS MOMENT, FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS. The Son comes up drawing up the vapours out of the earth, and gathers those vapours together, THAT THEY MAY REVEAL, AND BE A PRAISE OFFERING TO, THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, even but for a moment. Those vapours are called forth to Bless the grass of the fields, the cattle of the earth, and still take time to Bless the God of all Creation. So, little vapour, you may feel all alone and insignificant, but gathered together in Christ, you shine forth as a Thing of Great Beauty. The Lord called forth all the vapours of the earth, AND DESTROYED EVERY BREATHING THING FROM OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH. And He called forth the vapours to form the Rainbow, to remind us of His Promise, that He and we would, Be Blessed.
