Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 3423

Daily Devotional. And, behold, two (disciples) went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs. And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them. But their eyes were holden that they should not Know Him. Then (Jesus) said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to Believe all that the prophets have spoken: Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into His Glory? And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, He expounded unto them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself. And it came to pass, as He sat at meat with them, He took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them. AND THEIR EYES WERE OPENED, AND THEY KNEW HIM; and He vanished out of their sight. And they said one to another, DID NOT OUR HEART BURN WITHIN US, WHILE HE TALKED WITH US by the way, and while He opened to us the scriptures? Luke 24:13,15 -16,25-27,30-32. These two Disciples had heard the Truth of the empty tomb and the missing body of Christ, without understanding. But when The Word was Preached to then, (so far, by some Stranger), their Heart recognized The Truth of The Gospel and “Burned” within them. This is the key, they heard the Gospel and Knew it was Truth, (like many people today who hear the Truth in GOoD Preaching), BUT ONLY WHEN, AND NOT UNTIL the Holy Spirit gives Understanding can it register in their Spirit and have Meaning in their Life. The Act of Salvation in one’s Heart and Spirit can only be done by the Holy Spirit, and only to those who Desire Truth. That’s why most people who hear the Gospel, aren’t there to Hear The Gospel, but are there for some other reason. But to the Hearing Heart And Spirit, THE WORD WILL BECOME LIFE AND WALK WITH YOU ON YOUR DAILY JOURNEY. During this time of intimate Communion and Fellowship with The Lord, the Heart Witnessed, “Yea and Amen”, the Spirit gave them Witness and Life, and they were to Forever, Be Blessed.
