Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 3395

Daily Devotional. And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God. Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother. And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up. Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: SELL ALL THAT THOU HAST, AND DISTRIBUTE UNTO THE POOR, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: AND COME, FOLLOW ME. And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich. And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, HOW HARDLY SHALL THEY THAT HAVE RICHES ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD! And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God’s sake, Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting. Luke 18:18-24, 29-30. CAUTION: BE VERY CAREFUL, YOU AND I CAN VERY EASILY BE THAT RICH YOUNG RULER!!! Us American Christians will very quickly Judge “Rich People” because they have millions of dollars, even billions, and because they have Great Money, WE CAN NOW JUDGE THEM AS GOING TO HELL, AS WE HUMBLE BELIEVERS KNOW WE’RE GOING TO HEAVEN BECAUSE WE DON’T HAVE “THE CURSE” OF MUCH MONEY LIKE “THEY” HAVE. “Are you kidding me”? Let’s say you and I are beggars living in cardboard boxes under the bridge, and I find a piece of bread, and because of my “heart” of Greed and Covetousness, I won’t share any of it with you, I TOO AM JUST LIKE THAT RICH YOUNG RULER! I fully care about me and what I HAVE TO DO TO SURVIVE, with NO concern about you. Is your “Heart” for others first, to quickly share with them? Or you first and MAYBE, you’ll send them a scrap or two? Don’t fall for the trap of Judging by MONEY. Will you share of your  “stuff”, and, Be Blessed?
