Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 3378

Daily Devotional. Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon. Then Daniel requested of the king, and he set SHADRACH, MESHACH , AND ABED-NEGO, OVER THE AFFAIRS OF THE PROVINCE OF BABYLON: but Daniel sat in the gate of the king. Daniel 2:48-49. (These 3.men had favor with the King, he was pleased with their work). WHEREFORE at that time CERTAIN CHALDEANS CAME near, and accused the Jews. They spake AND SAID TO THE KING Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever. Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of… the musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image: And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego; THESE MEN, O king, HAVE NOT REGARDED THEE: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. Then Nebuchadnezzar IN HIS RAGE AND FURY commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. Then they brought these men before the king. Daniel 3:8-13. Be careful Christians, no matter how “good” you may think you have the favor of the world towards you and life is good, BE CAREFUL. With one little whisper from an “enemy”, your whole world can turn upside down. In an instant, your Favor can turn into a Death Sentence. Just like John the Baptist, he was greatly liked by the ruler, and with one word from an “enemy”, John lost his head.   Don’t put your trust in this world or the things of it. You’re just “passing through”, until The King calls you Home. Preach like there’s no tomorrow, live like you’ll be here forever, and be ready to go Home at any moment. Christ is soon coming back, Live for Him and with His Hearts Desire towards all of mankind, you may even die for Him, and you will Forever, Be Blessed.
