Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 3371

Daily Devotional. For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them HIS GOODS. And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. Matthew 25:14-15. Thayer’s Definition of “goods”; possessions, goods, wealth, property. Christ has gone back to Heaven to prepare a place for His Servants, Christians,  Believers, and He has left us with His Goods. And just what are His Goods? Here’s a partial list of some of His Goods for us to properly use as directed, to enjoy “using” them, and to “use” them for the Praise and Glory of God Almighty, the Lord Jesus Christ. Let’s just call them all “Gifts” because all good things come from the Lord and we really don’t want anything not from Him. We have the Gift of Life, for without it, you never were. Then there’s Life Everlasting, as in Eternity with Christ in the Heavenly’s. You must have these two Gifts first before you can go on with the rest of His Gifts. We have the Holy Spirit, to teach us all things. With Him come the 9 Gifts of the Holy Spirit, and the 9 Fruits of the Holy Spirit, these involve “The Power” of God. Then we have the Whole Armour of God, for our Defense, and to Attack, as directed. We have every “Attribute” of Christ to be instilled, installed, and to Grow, in us. We‘ll call this, CHRISTLIKENESS, as it’s its own definition. We have the Gifts of Trials, Troubles, Testings and Tribulation to Grow us Solidly in Christ. Then there’s Chastenings, Chastisement and Correction to keep us in line and on schedule. And there’s a heaping helping of Love, Mercy and Grace to flow through us to all (6.5 billion) of our closest Friends, Family, and Neighbors. Yum. And let’s top off this possible list of “Gifts” with total coverage and saturation of LOVE towards God and all of mankind. With all this, will you be found “Profitable” to The Master, that you may, Be Blessed?
