Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 3359

Daily Devotional. And thou shalt teach them Ordinances and Laws, and shalt shew them The Way wherein they MUST walk, and the Work that they must do. Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, SUCH AS FEAR GOD, men of Truth, HATING COVETOUSNESS;  Exodus 18:20-21. And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that HIS FEAR may be before your faces, THAT YE SIN NOT. Exodus 20:20.That thou mightest FEAR THE LORD THY GOD, to keep all His Statutes and His Commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son, all the days of thy life; and THAT THY DAYS MAY BE PROLONGED. Thou shalt FEAR THE LORD thy God, AND serve him, AND shalt swear by his name. YE shall NOT GO AFTER OTHER gODS, OF THE gods of the PEOPLE which are ROUND ABOUT YOU; Deuteronomy 6:2,13-14. FEAR; “to fear, be afraid to stand in Awe of, be awed to fear, reverence, honour, respect”. To fear the Lord is more like a Holy Reverence, A Deep Respect of Who the Lord is, and not so much about, “He can squash me like a bug”. To truly Fear God IS to walk the straight and narrow, to Revere Him, and at the same time, run TO Him when you sin. To walk in the Fear of God is to walk WITH God, and not walk with man. To Fear God is to want to be like His Son, Jesus, The Christ. And the Holy Spirit can AND WILL help you Walk in all these things. The Fear of God and the Love of God go hand in hand together in your Life in Christ. The Days are here, do you want a Holy, Reverent, Loving Fear of God Almighty, or a terrifying fear of man, Satan, and the death and destruction coming against them? Your choice, be at Peace with the Fear of God, or be in terror of everything around you. If you don’t Fear God, that’s OK, it’s your choice. But keep in mind, the fear and terror you feel now in this world is but a drop in the bucket of the Terror to come AFTER life on this world. Only Christ will give you Peace in the face of ANY situation. Be at Peace, and Forever, Be Blessed.
