Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 3353

Daily Devotional. And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith He that is Holy, He that is True, He that hath the key of David, He that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept My Word, and hast not denied My Name. Revelation 3:7-8. We like to look at these verses as the Lord opening the doors of opportunity, and closing doors that could lead us into harm’s way. And that is so. But that’s not all that these doors represent. Recently, in a place of business, a lady walked in wearing a surgical mask over her mouth and nose, and latex gloves on her hands. Maybe she was contagious, or very cautious not to catch something, or possibly fearful of catching pneumonia, as two people recently died in the local hospital. Her attire sparked a discussion about Death. Here’s the short version. Yes, drive as carefully as you can, use good sense around sick people, and don’t try to put yourself in harm’s way. Be as “safe” as you feel you need, BUT DON’T LIVE IN FEAR OF MAN, SATAN, DISEASE OR DEATH. No man knows his hour of departing this world and entering the next. (A little Grace here, please). As a Believer, your “Doorway” to death WILL NOT BE OPENED by any man, beast, disease or spirit on this earth. NO FEAR!!! But when the Lord God Almighty opens that door for you, no man, doctor, or theology can stop you from going through it. When Daddy call you home, Saved or sinner, YOU’RE GOING HOME, wherever that may be. Believers, you can Grow in Christ up to the Moment of your demise. That will be your allotted full Life in Christ. Just like walking through the door of a business, you will walk from this Life into the next Do not fear man or death. Love Christ, WHO HAS YOU IN THE PALM OF HIS HAND UNTIL HE CALLS YOU HOME UNTO HIM. “A thousand shall fall at thy side…but it shall not come nigh thee. Psalm 91:7. Be Blessed.
