Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 2851

Daily Devotional. But the God of all grace, WHO HATH CALLED US unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, MAKE YOU PERFECT, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 1 Peter 5:10. Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ UNTO ALL AND UPON ALL THEM THAT BELIEVE: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:22-23. FOR MANY ARE CALLED, but few are chosen. Matthew 22:14. As an illustration, let’s re-read Matthew 22:14 again, For ALL are called, but only a few will choose to follow. Another illustration. Imagine a large room full of many people. A Man opens The Door, comes into the room and calls out, “All who are seeking Truth, follow Me”, and He goes into a smaller room next door, with a small group of people coming in after him. As the “Followers” are all seated, the Man declares, “As you have decided to Seek Truth, I have chosen to Teach you All Things”. To be clear, this verse DOES NOT mean that Christ comes into a room full of people, points to five of them and says, “Follow Me”, they leave, AND NO ONE ELSE GETS TO FOLLOW. Every single person ever to walk on planet earth, has a call, an invite, by Christ Himself, to Follow Him. NO ONE, on Judgment Day, will be able to stand before Christ and say, “I didn’t know”, “I wasn’t called”, or, “I wasn’t chosen”. ALL ARE CALLED… That being said, let’s move on to the next step. Of all who have chosen TO START to Follow Christ, some will turn back to their old ways because The Cost is more than they want to pay. You must Follow Christ ON HIS TERMS as He Teaches step by step Obedience. Instant Perfection is not required, but a Heart WILLING to learn, is. To Follow Christ is actually much easier than following this Sin-Filled world. His yoke is easy and His burden is light. The world will tie you up in chains of bondage, and those chains will eventually kill you. TODAY IS THE DAY OF YOUR SALVATION. Follow Christ, Obey, and, Be Blessed.
