Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 2852

Daily Devotional. Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel HOW THEY MIGHT ENTANGLE HIM IN HIS TALK. And they sent out unto Him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that THOU ART TRUE, AND TEACHEST the way of God in TRUTH, neither carest thou for any man : for thou regardest not the person of men. Tell us therefore, WHAT THINKEST THOU? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not? But JESUS PERCEIVED THEIR WICKEDNESS, and said, Why tempt ye me, YE HYPOCRITES? Matthew 22:15-18. Jesus, the Christ, is not only the Master of Words, He IS The Word, He is the Living Essence of ALL The Words that have ever come out of the Mouth of Almighty God. Everything that God has ever Said, IS CHRIST. This is A Concept that even His Disciples could barely comprehend. Nevertheless, when the Pharisees tried to trap Christ by using His Own Words against Himself, they actually had to speak The Truth, then attempt to twist The Truth into a lie so they could use His Own Words against Himself. In this case, through Discernment, Christ Knew their heart attitude of trickery, AND TURNED THEIR OWN “TRAP” WORDS INTO TRUTH WORDS AGAINST THEMSELVES. Today, when we, His Followers, speak, we too are to speak The Truth about Christ. Here’s my point. We may, or may not Discern, (as the Lord shows us, or not), the heart of others as they try to “trap” us with His Words. Many Christians have been killed for Speaking The Truth. Many Christians have Discerned “Word Traps” and not been “caught” in those traps, to Live and Preach another day. ALWAYS SPEAK THE TRUTH, and leave the final outcome in the Hands of the Lord. Stephen spoke one long Great Truth, and was immediately killed for it. John spoke many Great Truths and died in old age. The results of speaking Truth is Purely and Totally in Christ’s Hands. We Live, we die, it’s ALL up to the Lord anyway. Christ was killed for speaking The Truth, and you expect to be treated better than Him? Speak Christ, and, Be Blessed.
